Physical Description

 

Long and lean, Rose is more than a little bit top-heavy with caramel skin and a face nearing perfection.

 

Background

 

Rose was rescued from a slaver's ship at the age of 3 by then Gunnery Sergeant Anthony Petalosa. Although a lifelong

bachelor and career marine, Anthony sought to ensure her safety and upbringing by arranging for her adoption by his

sister and her wife, Brenna and Jun Petalosa-Yasuda. As much as possible, her adoptive uncle remained an important part

of her life.

After a lifetime of watching her uncle work, and indebted to both him and the Marine Corps in which he served, she

announced her intentions to enlist and follow in her uncle's foot steps. Seeing how poorly a fit she would make for the

infantry, he urged her in another direction and, at his suggestion, she applied for and was accepted into the Delta

Freedom Alliance Marine Academy.
