Background

​

2402: He turns eighteen and enters Star Fleet Academy. This is the year that Dark and Lorith defected from Star Fleet because they are becoming too militaristic. He has noticed that too growing up, but he hoped that this event would get them to reevaluate their goals. He majored in Science, but didn't choose a minor. 

 

2406: He graduated from the Academy, and entered into Star Fleet as an ensign. He specialized in Astronomy and Linguistics. 

 

2411: For the past five years he noticed that the number of discovery oriented missions have decreased and the number of military missions have increased. He was tired of it. This is not what he signed up for. He was a scientist not a soldier. He decided to resign his commission and join the DFA to the dismay of his parents. He entered DFA Academy. He thought that it wouldn't hurt to learn a little more. He majored in Science and decided to minor in Medicine. 

 

2415: He graduated from DFA Academy and started his cadet cruise on the DFA Independence. When he finished it three months later, he decided to further his education by going to command school.

2419                He graduated from command school and entered the DFA as an ensign. He was assigned to the DFA Cromwell-B in the Science Department. He specialized in Genetics and Xenobiology in addition to the Astronomy and Linguistics. (O1)

  • Covert Action Ribbon: Ensign Rol has performed above and beyond the call of duty. Before he could even unpack, he was pressed into service, working undercover," he said with a nod for Intel to take note of this officer, "uncovering illicit activities in Port Saiodh. And in conjunction with Lt Hemstum, also performing admirably, this pair was able to uncover plans to take out Cromwell's DFA Marines' AA Pulse Phaser defending the town of Port Saiodh.  Acting as covert agents, Hemstum and Rol were nearly captured, even as they uncovered the operations center of a crime lord, rescuing not only Lt Norris and Six of Twelve from their kidnapping, but recovering Four of Seven from imprisonment.   • Haedreon IV Campaign Ribbon: For duties performed on Haedreon IV, and at great risk to yourselves, you have helped break up a criminal ring operating out of Haedreon IV, and caused to recover, or destroy, captured Borg Tech, preventing it from falling into enemy hands (2419.08.04)

  • Combat Injury Ribbon: For services in combat, and for taking injuries in performance of duties, and a risk to life and limb, and aiding in escape from the Ice base on Haedreon IV, the combat ribbon is awarded. (2419.08.07)

Background Information

Ensign Rol was born on Betazed on Stardate 2384.05.25 to Captain Darien Rol of Star Fleet and a dedicated botanist named Dr. Aelora Rol. He acquired his love of science from his mother. He is 35 years old, and ever since he was small he had wanted to join Star Fleet like his father. He has a noble sense of justice, and he is very kind. He doesn't like violence very much, but he will use force if he has to. He won't use weapons unless the situations require it, especially in cases where he is ordered to.
