We were able to adapt to Horizon's subspace scramblers by creating a net of vessels around the station and by taking out a number of Horizon's sensor arrays (which the scramblers are built into). We encountered two unrecognised federation runabout vessels. They were faster and better armed than standard Federation vessels and were able to inflict damage on Probe 815 and a number of Scout Ships before retreating from the cube.  We were contacted by an individual designated 'Commander Pataki'. She asked to 'negotiate' with us, threatening to destroy the Particle 010 data. We transported the individual to Cube 721 in order to asses her request. An agreement was reached. Horizon had 30 minutes to deliver the Particle 010 data, the individuals from the research facility and any assimilated members of their crew to us. In return, we would cease the assimilation of the station.  The individuals were proving inefficient in collecting the required data and individuals. One individual attempted to escape, damaging Five of Eight. We were able to inject him as he re-entered his shuttle. Eight of Ten, Two of Four and Four of Ten were sent to inform Pataki that her time was up and demand the individuals and the data be provided immediately.

Shortly after Probe 815 arrived back in the delta quadrant, we received a signal which corresponded to Particle 010. Probe 815 was sent to investigate. We found a planet, still transmitting the signal as a vessel fleed. Drones were sent to the planet to assimilate all possible data from the facility and find the source of the particle 010 signal. No lifeforms were found on the planet and much of the facility had been destroyed. We were able to find encrypted data on the main computer which was eventually decrypted to read: "Program Omega Test 02: Omega successfully stabilized for 3.4 seconds before the explosion on site 2. Last supply of Borite to be used for testing Reactor-C." Little else could be gained from the facility but it was clear that the individuals who had been here had successfully stabilised Particle 010 for 0.2 seconds longer than previous attempts and potentially had more Borite ore. As such, we tracked the warp signature of the individuals who had left. This lead us to a Federation Starbase designated 'Horizon'. As expected from our previous assimilation attempt, 'Horizon' was using a subspace scrambling weapon, designed to affect the connection between Probe 815 and the rest of ourself. We kept a cube further away from Horizon but the Probe was effected by the scrambler. Drones on the Probe acted chaotically but some managed to follow secondary protocols and began attempting to boost the signal of the Vinculi on the Probe. Meanwhile, we dispatched 42 smaller vessels to create a subspace grid around Horizon, allowing our signal to get through in spite of the scrambler. Submatricies 34, 35, 36, 37 and 38 were dispatched to Horizon to assimilate the station and, primarily, to find the individuals responsible for the Particle 010 experiment. We were also trying to destroy the Subspace scrambling device. Two of Four assimilated data which suggested the scramblers were installed in all sensors throughout Horizon so, to destroy the scrambler, we would have to destroy all of the sensors. Two of Four and the newly assimilated Three of Thirteen began to destroy Horizon's sensors while Submatrix 34 assimilated individuals on the Promanade and Submatrix 37 started trying to take the bridge. Submatrix 35 was dispatched to Sickbay. One of the individuals in sickbay activated forcefields around some of the patients and called for emergency transport...

We were able to assimilate the Species 10035 vessel, though we sustained heavy casualties. Four of Ten was deactivated and replaced by a Species 10035 drone. Species 10035 are capable of creating singularities and had the frequency required to create a singularity that could return us to the delta quadrant in the Milky Way. Unfortunatly, this would require more energy than we had available. Long-range sensors detected a fleet of Species 10035 vessels moving towards us. We require further adaptation and greater numbers before attempting to assimilate the fleet and so decided to leave 10035 space. While we did not have sufficient energy to create a singularity big enough to return us, we could create one big enough to send a message to the rest of ourself. Almost all of the energy our three vessels had available was channelled into creating a small singularity to Unimatrix 01 and transmitting a message to the Collective, asking for assistance.        When Unimatrix 01 recieved the message, it was with considerable damage to the Unicomplex. Systems throughout the complex were damaged by the outburst of energy from the message but, given the size of the complex, the damage was insignificant. A larger singularity was generated from the other side three days later, using energy supplied by the Unicomplex. A cube arrived through this singularity and escorted the three vessels back as they were unable to move themselves having drained all reserves.
