In character we've at the end of the prep-phase for two plots that will be running on top of one another. The first is a culmination of the murder plot we ran months ago on the rogue planet, with Ensign Jorge Harrisburg on trial for the murder of the Chief of Operations Alan Johnson. The Carson Sesgaard, COO when the assignments were given, will be Harrisburg's defense against JAG Officer Maria Reynolds as the DFA Prosecution. However all involved may find things more surprising than the average courtroom drama.

Outside the double doors the Cromwell has been ordered to find Nal'gaharay bases, take prisoners, find evidence, then destroy the bases. The endgame is to find the terrorist's home base and mount an offense against that directly. The ship is currently buzzing with preparations, with nearly every department responsible for an integral portion of the plan.

Currently Cromwell is leaving Phoenix's drydock to learn the new DFA operating system (replacement of the re-skinned LCARS) and await real orders. Meanwhile the freighter DFA Charity has recently met an unfortunate end at the ends of the Nal'gaharay using Krenim weapons. Meanwhile the Captain has recently started a relationship with his Chief of Security and the crew are starting to settle back aboard the Cromwell. There are several side-plots including the Security Poker Game and more relationships than you can shake a stick at.

DFA Cromwell-B remained in orbit around a class M rogue planet through this month, slowly but reliably being rebuilt by engineering to make her habitable once again. It was a chance to perform basic science research, rest, relax, and even find a way to play some volley ball. There was a well deserved, and well attended Promotions ceremony. The crew even had time to go on a couple of dates. Unfortunately, not all of the crew was resting, as one from the Cromwell-B murdered the newly appointed and promoted Operations chief. Rest and relaxation turned to investigation and pursuit. Security performed admirably, capturing the culprit alive despite a hostage situation. Fast action by the Chief Medical Officer may have saved the villain for a trial, but for now, he awaits in the brig as the remaining crew returns to the Cromwell, and the JAG prepares her case for the Court Martial.
