The crew is coming down off of a Borg infestation of the ship that claimed several lives (all NPCs) and destroyed much of the ship. With the plan of returning to Phoenix (still an eventual plan) for a diplomatic conference and repairs, the crew will be first forced to set down on an unusual planet so Engineering can repair the ship's life support. We're looking forward to our sandbox plot and eventual crossover with Phoenix.

Cromwell has just finished a plot involving a Borg invasion of the vessel. Using a destructive but ingenious idea of the first officer's, Cromwell managed to rid itself of the Borg infestation. The downside is that the majority of the ship's systems were tanked at the same time. Now the ship is limping towards Starbase Phoenix at one-quarter impulse with only the most necessary of systems patched to working order. 

The next plot we're looking at is a short sideline to a nearby planet for repairs until Phoenix is ready to begin our imminent side-plot featuring the Talaxian people seeking admittance to either the Federation or the DFA. 

2411.09

Currently much of the Cromwell's crew has been taking part in Kevin Braun's holodeck version of D&D entitled Wizards and Warriors with the group fighting the inner demons they all ignore. In the main plot the Cromwell has been ordered to a planet near the Federation-DFA border, one that reportedly the Federation had been trying to convince to join the Federation despite the planet lying some distance inside of the DFA's borders. The Cromwell has been ordered to make haste to the planet and "convince" them to join the Alliance instead. Rumor has it, however, that the Cromwell will not reach the planet without issues.
