2422.11.01: Nettle lost their right eye when they were attacked by the giant bug creatures on B217. They were stabilised by Blu S'Hirt.

2423.01.01: Nettle designed an implant to replace their missing eye, basing it on existing technology, but adjusting it for Chernov biology. The artificial eye has scanning capabilities similar to a tricorder and telescopic vision. It does not have heat-detecting/inferred vision, as Nettle found this feature overly distracting (their antenna are very warm and would interfere with what they were seeing). They can use their eye to send signals to basic devices (door chimes, replicators ect.) on DFA ships where they have the required access codes. They created this accommodation specifically upon realising how high up all of the buttons on the doors were.

2425.11 - Accidentally crossed into (this) Cromwell's timeline when Cromwell was displaced backwards in time by an anomaly in the Bajoran Wormhole. Due to the temporal disturbance affecting the crew's memories, and the timelines being very similar, this was not discovered until [PLACEHOLDER]
Background
Nettle was rescued by Blu S'Hirt during the Bug Attacks on Sylva in 2422. Nettle left Sylva with a handful of survivors in one of the escape vessels and headed for DFA space. Nettle and the fourteen others on the ship sought refuge on the DFA colony B217. Only a week after they arrived, B217 was also infested with the bugs, which killed the DFA colonists and Nettle's crew. Nettle was rescued by the DFA Cromwell away team, led by Blu, that had come down to investigate the planet because it had not been sending its routine reports.
Fifteen-year-old Nettle was the only survivor of their pack. With the support of Blu, they joined the DFA Academy, the year later, coming onto Cromwell near the end of 2425 for their final year (ship tour).
*Note: This version of Nettle Hazelilly is from an alternate timeline, having accidentally crossed timelines in 2425. Nettle from the main timeline died in the bug attacks in 2422.
