Sorry for the late report, the final weeks of April were difficult for Cromwell with final exams for many of our younger players (including her CO). This month we worked towards finishing the Babylon plague story. Meanwhile we have a new pilot in Ensign Jack Steel (played by Joel) who will be soon taking Cromwell away from the station and out into the vast unknown of the DQ.

On Babylon things have been going from bad to worse, beginning with the deterioration of Station systems. Major Dejah and T'Pris joined Station Engineer Yakota in repairing the secondary enviornmental controls junction to keep the residents from suffocating while back on Cromwell Athena, Takar, and Sheldon informed the Captain of an idea on how they can slow the disease while Medical and Science attempt to synthesize a vaccine from the captured Vorta. With station temperatures being dropped to below freezing and the disease continuing to spread among the residents, it truly is a race against the clock to solve this plague before it kills off the DFA's space station.

This has been a good month for the Cromwell, with two new players and working towards the very end of the plot we have blown away the following month's posting numbers. Good job guys. We will very shortly be finished with the current plot and working towards the beginning of the following plot (and what a plot it is).

The team has found a Vorta on the Journeyman, apparently immune to the disease, who attacked Broque before being detained by the away team. The Vorta is currently detained in the sickbay under a level 10 security field aboard Cromwell. We are waiting on science to run tests. The people (those still alive) aboard Babylon are waiting with bated breath to hear if their disease will find a cure. Meanwhile a major discovery was made by Operations Officer Sheldon, the disease is a bio-engineered strain of a Cardassian disease.

Additionally aboard the station a major failure has caused life support failure for the non-command decks. There is enough air for a couple of hours max. On Cromwell wedding talk is in the air, with the recently MPD'ed Counselor and the recently kidnapped Fighter Pilot attempting to hold a relationship against the circumstances

Cromwell has been answering to a disease aboard the Babylon station. A large portion of the station's population below the command deck have been infected and are dying, causing the Cromwell to have to take control of the station until the disease can be cured and station operations recommence. Engineering is currently working with the survivors of the station's engineering department to keep the station running. Science, Medical and Security are searching the U.S.S. Journeyman, a Federation ship that was the original plague carrier, hoping to find an answer to the mystery of what the plague is. Meanwhile away from the station the Marines are dealing with the issue of some escapees from the quarantine. Korm and Berik, the brothers controlling a Ferengi Freighter that beamed survivors up under the noses of DFA marines have been detained by the skillful Major Dejah and the escapees have been retaken. Vanier has also been recovered from the Ferengi vessel.
