<Stardate 2421.06 - Six of Twelve - Begin Log>

Major MarQ and the marine search party located Captain Sesgaard seconds before Hope-3 was due to explode. In order to survive, they had to beam directly into the vacuum of space. Lt Desson was able to transport the survivors back to Cromwell and escape the immediate proximity of the explosion but Cromwell was hit by debris from Hope-3 and was damaged. Major MarQ placed his oxygen mask on Captain Sesgaard when in the vacuum while Captain Sesgaard was unconscious. This saved Captain Sesgaard's life, but Major MarQ was damaged too severely for conventional repairs.

Meanwhile, Six of Twelve, DJ Greene and Arrain N'Vek found the Species 10030 shuttle cloaked in the shuttle bay. The shuttle's cloak dropped when Cromwell was hit, unshielded, by the Hope-3 debris. Three individuals were found inside, including Deekil who has been identified as the leader of the terrorist movement. Two of the individuals found were inactive but Deekil was alive and badly damaged. Arrain N'Vek was going to deactivate him with her knife, but DJ Greene said not to and transported him to sickbay instead. He is now functional and detained in Cromwell's brig. Keeli's symbiote was able to recover and re-establish a connection with her nervous system because of Dr Clark's treatment. She is now recovering in quarters with Eeeklet. Cromwell was able to salvage all of the individuals from Hope-3 and is now operating with above-recommended crew capacity.

Six of Twelve and Four of Seven repaired Major MarQ using Borg technology and nanoprobes. A neural transceiver, cortical array, neural processor and ocular implant have been installed. He has just completed a three-day regeneration cycle and is now active. Captain Sesgaard, Kit and Petty Officer Mallory are also now functional and have been released from sickbay. Cromwell is on-route to Dakhus station for repairs.

<Stardate: 2421.03, 2421.04, 2421.05: Begin Log>

Cromwell's subunits celebrated an event designated 'Captain's Day'. This involves drawing images for Captain Sesgaard and consuming ice cream in Ten Forward. Captain Sesgaard looked after the subunits during the day and then celebrated with the adult crewmembers in the evening.

The next day, Cromwell detected a distress call in an unknown langauge, too unfamiliar for the Universal Translator to decrypt immediately. We set a course to intercept the vessel. It belonged to Species 10030: the Vrauzux. The vessel was badly damaged and not responding to hails. An away team including Six of Twelve, Lt Greene, Lt Xozalt, Crewman Goch and Crewman Hikock were sent to the vessel to investigate. We were able to collect enough data for Petty Officer Mallory to program the Universal Translator. Lt Green acquired this data through non-verbal communication consisting of symbols and gestures, instructing Species 10030 to allow Six of Twelve to assimilate their language libraries.

We discovered that the vessel is designated Hope-3 and was one of a group of escape colony vessels that had fled Species 10030 space. They were fleeing the Collective because we are in the process of assimilating the species, having discovered them utilising our transwarp corridors. The Hope-3 vessel was damaged by the Borg attack. Cromwell offered to assist in repairing the vessel and damaged units. More away teams were transported to Hope-3 to begin this process and Eeeklet, the Captain of Hope-3, was transported to Cromwell along with her diplomatic team to speak with Captain Sesgaard about the Delta Freedom Alliance. Species 10030 are an isolationist race who have avoided contact with species outside their own up until now, so they had little information on this region of space.

While in Hope-3 engineering, scanning the damaged warp-core, we discovered an explosive device that had been set to detonate in 60 minutes. Kit ordered the evacuation of the civilians on Hope-3 to Cromwell while Explosive Removal Specialist, Perry, arrived to attempt to defuse the bomb. The Hope-3 engineer did not know how it got there.

Captain Sesgaard was kidnapped using transporter technology by one of the diplomats that had arrived with Eeeklet. Major MarQ and Arrain N'Vek witnessed this event. The kidnappers sent a message demanding Cromwell in exchange for Captain Sesgaard's return. Eeeklet explained that the kidnappers were a part of a terrorist organisation called the 'Independent Vrauzux Organisation' who did not approve of interaction with other factions, such as the DFA. We do not know why. Perhaps they wanted to stay in their own space to be assimilated?

Major MarQ instructed Six of Twelve and Four of Seven to analyse discrepancies in the scans from Hope-3 and the schematics for the general design of that type of vessel. It appears a shuttle is missing from the Hope-3 docking bay.

Major MarQ and Arrain N'Vek worked on developing the technology to find Captain Sesgaard. This involved getting sensors past the Species 10030 cloaks, which relied on dampening fields and false-projection technology. Arrain N'Vek shared access to her Fighter, which contained a new type of RSE cloaking technology. One of the engineers was deactivated getting past the vessel's security but the data collected did allow them to develop a tricorder adaptation that could scan past the Species 10030 cloaks. Major MarQ, Arrain N'Vek and a marine search party went to Hope-3 to look for Captain Sesgaard.

Six of Twelve, Kit and Lt Greene were transported back to Cromwell when Commander Martis returned. New commands were provided but there was insufficient time to comply because the conference room was attacked by the terrorists. Six of Twelve and Four of Seven deactivated the majority of the attackers but some of the units fled before they could be deactivated.

Meanwhile away teams on Hope-3 are evacuating the civilians in case Perry fails to defuse the explosive. To do this, we are utilising the Fighters' transporters, the dropship transporters and Cromwell's transporters.

DJ Greene instructed Six of Twelve to locate Deekil, one of the terrorists who escaped, so we scanned through security footage but were unable to locate him aboard Cromwell. It is likely he is utilising the cloaking technology. Lt Sel'ra suggests he may be hidden inside the missing Species 10030 shuttle.

Dr Clark and Lt Tas have been repairing individuals from Hope-3 who were damaged, along with Petty Officer Mallory who was attacked by Deekil while assisting the evacuation parties aboard Hope-3. Dr Clark has just performed an experimental surgery to save the life of a Species 10030 subunit. The subunit is functional and the treatment appears to be working. Petty Officer Mallory is suffering from a rare neurological disorder designated 'Mallorian Synaptic Disruptive Disorder'.

The search party have just located Captain Sesgaard, unconscious, in one of the corridors aboard Hope-3.

<<Stardate 2421.02. Six of Twelve. Begin Log>> The Ambassadors for the CASPER Project have arrived on Cromwell. They are currently eating in Ten Forward. There is Ambassador Havak, from the Cardassion Union. She is sitting with Lt Janos, Petty Officer Mallory, Ensign Brice and Ensign Hunter. They are sharing stories from their different cultures. Ambassador Havak is currently telling a story called 'The Tale of the Zabu'. There are three diplomatic personnel from the Federation; Ambassador Jackson, Lila Cole and Michaelly Capatuto. They are in Ten Forward with Lt Xozalt. Lila Cole suggested the DFA should rejoin Starfleet. We informed her that the DFA has shown itself to be more adaptable than Starfleet and has a resistance quotient on-par, in spite of its smaller size. There are also three representatives from the Romulan Star Empire; Ambassador D'Mora, D'harvanek and tr'Khev. The Romulans would not sit with members of Cromwell's crew. This caused a problem, as all of the tables in Ten Forward were occupied, so there were none available for them to sit alone. We have asked Marylin to solve the problem. Marylin is Arrain N'Vek's 'callsign'. A callsign is an additional designation Fighter Pilots are provided with. Marylin says Six of Twelve is to use it because we are friends. We spoke to Captain Sesgaard about Peter Pan. Santa Claus said that we must find a way to apply data from the book to our functions. We thought this might be sword fighting, but Captain Sesgaard said this was incorrect. He said that we must think of another group that, like Peter Pan, does not wish to grow up. He suggested we talk to someone like Peter Pan, so we have taken the subunits to Ten Forward to ask them. We found out that a nightmare is a dream which generates the emotion fear. One of One said that nightmares should be avoided and that talking about maturation chambers may generate them in younger children. We do not know why nightmares are to be avoided. Dreams cannot cause harm, can they? Kit and DJ Greene have been discussing their wedding. They went on a date in Ten Forward, catered by Ana Furgison. Kit said there was a conflict of some kind but would not provide further data. We still do not have a date for the wedding. Casper has made contact with Klingon ambassador, Kos and liaison Galag. Lt Lockwood and Lt Norris are providing a tour of the Casper and taking the Klingon diplomatic units to their quarters aboard. Sg Ainsworth has reported to the freighter and is in communication with Commander Sinjin. <<End Log>>
