The month got off to a promising start for the Cromwell, as we lost some long standing players to the new embassy. Our posting numbers were a drop from last month,but overall were still very good, despite a few LOA's.

Cromwell continued the repairs and refit on Devu. The crew took some personal time, and out of nowhere HQ arranged a meeting between Cmndr. Leesa Anara and Lt. Riley Cassidy resulting in a new XO for Cromwell. The DFA recieved word of True Way activity along the Chetzian System borders.

Cromwell departed for the system, while the new XO had a meeting with key personnel to reveal the second reason for his arrival. A double agent is among the crew. With the return of the True Way and the revelation that one of our own is working as a spy for Drayden, the XO and Intel officers began an investigation of the crew.

Enroute, Cromwell encountered a debris field. With little debate, we procceded to recover and analyze the debris. Aside from a mishap involving our CSO, the recovery has been completed. A new Ambassador has arrived, and our MCO has discovered a few new toys in the cargo bay. Cromwell is now ready to resume our course.

Cromwell has been handed over to the Federation, not much was wrong with her, the doors may not open and close or may viciously attack you mid way through and the Marines did some decorating with phasers....

The crew has arrived on Devu II, our kind hosts. We have had the first glimpse of the pride of the DFA fleet the 3.5 million tonne Heimdall class CEB (Cruiser Exploration Battle). The ship has been christened Cromwell-B by Governor Tom Bateman's wife Samantha Bateman. The ship is still with womb of the Dakkus shipyards undergoing final fitting before its shakedown cruise. The crew has begun to come aboard and assist in getting the ship ready.

We have aboard a new CMO Ensign Sekale Temor played by Claire and a new engineer Ensign Alex Wheatan played by Scott . I'd like to welcome them aboard the Cromwell and into the broader Borderlands community. I hope to shortly add a Helmsman to the new recruit list as I need someone to drive the ship!

Oh, and the new CO will soon give birth! (in character) - Will the Father, Dan Forrest be there???

Cromwell has wound up the successful xover with Devu II and the raid upon a True Way DUST facility. The Cromwell has been called to Starbase Pheonix by Governor Bateman for the hand over of the Cromwell (aka Warchief) back to the Federation as a peace offering to attempt to normalize relationship between the Federation and the DFA.

Whilst the crew have received and will follow orders to hand over the Cromwell there has been a ripple of surprise and disbelief. What the Cromwell stands for will life on in the hearts and minds of the crew, the spirit of resistance remains. The crew will shortly be transferring all personnel and equipment to the DFA John Murphy, which is currently docked a SB Pheonix and will transport the crew to Devu II where their new ship awaits. The DFA Cromwell B will be shortly commisioned.

Captain Dan Forrest has annouced he will be leaving the Cromwell for a post maybe on Devu, he will be accompanied by Samantha Carter. T'Paun the current CMO of the Cromwell will be leaving the ship also.

We are joined by Ensign Anun La'Steir, a Federation officer who has asked to join the DFA.
