<Stardate: 2421.01: Six of Twelve: Begin Log>

Designation update for Kit: Lieutenant -> Lt Commander.

We had an administrative meeting. It was efficient and numerous errors (recorded below) were updated.

Function update for Opilia Xozalt, DJ Greene, Sel'ra and Kimberly Wells: DJ Greene remains acting chief of security and is now alpha platoon leader. Opilia Xozalt is now assisting chief of security and tango platoon leader. Sel'ra remains Lt Commander Martis' bodyguard and is now sigma platoon leader and Kimberly Wells is now gamma platoon leader.

Room-share data updated. New protocol: units from from the same department are discouraged from sharing quarters. Query: what does 'discouraged' mean?. All new data inputted onto system.

Kit and DJ Greene are going to be 'married'. This is a connection between two units that is not a neural link. It relates to an emotional connection. There will be a 'wedding', the ceremony performed to create this connection. Six of Twelve has been selected as 'maid of honour'. We have several tasks relating to this function. One of them was to communicate with Ana Furgison, who will provide sustenance for the event. Ana Furgison and her two subunits One of One (alternative designation 'Damon') and Rex arrived at Cromwell. We took them on a tour and provided a list of dietary restrictions for those units involved in the wedding. We are currently at a 'Bridal Shower'. This is a sort of party related to the wedding. The theme is 'medieval fantasy' which means we must all wear costumes. Six of Twelve and Four of Seven are mindflayres. Mindflayres are a sort of hivemind, like us. There are numerous species in this simulation but our data on them is limited. Major MarQ, Kit, Paige Mallory, Brinn, DW179, Neilson, Sally, Six of Twelve and Four of Seven are here. Other individuals were invited but have not arrived yet. There will be another party called a 'bachelor party' that DJ Greene will organise. It will be at the Tombstone on Dakhus station. We do not have any further data on this at this time. The wedding will be this month but a stardate has yet to be provided.

We have two new units. One is for the CASPER Project and one is for Cromwell. The unit for Cromwell is designated 'Ensign Brice Kellin'. He will function in Operations. We have taken him to communicate with Captain Sesgaard and then to his quarters. His roommate is Ensign Th'Avevil. Ensign Kellin and Lt Greene are communicating with the Starfleet Ambassadors that have come to Cromwell because of the CASPER Project.

We have an exchange officer from Starfleet for the CASPER Project. He is the second new unit. His designation is Ensign Elijah Hunter and he is a Fighter Pilot. We have taken him to see Captain Sesgaard and to his quarters. Arrain N'Vek is his roommate. He is now at a meeting with Lt Petalosa and the other fighter pilots. Lt Petalosa has authorized 'duelling' for the CASPER fighter pilots. Query: what is a duel?

We were shown the Tellerite Freighter sent by Starfleet to test the CASPER Project weapons on. The vessel has been designated DFA Casper. Commander Sinjin has returned. He will be the 'subcommander' for DFA Casper. Lt Colonel Reynolds speaks for CASPER. He is the 'Project Manager'. Casper and Cromwell are travelling to Kahless-to in order to communicate with Ambassadors from the Klingon Star Empire. Ambassadors from the Cardassian Union, Starfleet, The Romulan Star Empire and the Klingon Empire will be involved in the project.

<2420.12 - Six of Twelve - Begin Log>

Our chronometer marked the passing of twenty years in the nexus but when we returned, it had only been two months. Time appears to have passed differently for different units varying between days in the case of Toby and Commander Martis to decades in the case of Six of Twelve and Four of Seven but the time that passed outside the nexus was consistent at two months.

We successfully assimilated two-thirds of the galaxy in the nexus. A transwarp network which was constructed in Unimatrix 237, Grid 129 provided considerable tactical advantage. Six of Twelve had difficulty complying when it was time to return but we understand now. What Six of Twelve 'wants' is irrelevant. We must collect data on why individuals resist. When our task is complete, we will collect Six of Twelve and Four of Seven. Perfection is possible. We know, we have seen it.

The following data has been collected regarding where and when Cromwell's units went during our experience in the nexus:

Commander Martis Dri, Toby Knight-Martis & Jina: Toby and Luna went to a place with dinosaurs which has been designated 'The Land of the Lost'. He was chased by a large, carnivorous creature known as a tyrannosaurus rex. He met Jina in a cave underneath the river. Jina and Toby were attacked by a group of Compsognathus. Toby ran and met Commander Martis with several men. The leader of the group of men was designated 'Calico'. They were 'pirates'. They had ships that sailed on the sea instead of starships. We have been informed that sea pirates are a part of Earth's history.

Lt Red S'Hirt, Ensign Katherine Kerman & DW112 : These units went into what appeared to be a holographic program of the Species 5618 film series 'Star Wars'. Many units believed they had entered the holodeck but had actually transitioned into the nexus. Ensign Kate, Red and DW112 flew vessels from this film series in their adventure.

Lt Tas & Ensign Katressan Th'avevil: Lt Tas and Ensign Th'avevil also went to the 'Land of the Lost' and were also chased by dinosaurs. Lt Tas was eaten by a tyrannosaurus rex and activated inside a forest where he found he could communicate with animals. Ensign Th'avevil was rescued by a group of individuals suspected to be the ancestors of Species 050 (Voth).

Lt DJ Greene, Lt Kit Taylor, Sally Taylor & Neilson Greene: They were separated at Neilson's birthday party, which coincided with Cromwell entering te nexus. DJ and Neilson were taken to Montana at the time of DJ's 8th birthday. DJ and Neilson were both 8 year old in this world. Kit and Sally went to a future where Sally was an academy cadet and Kit an academy commandant. Both Kit and Sally appeared 15 years older in this world. The four of them then met up in a future where DJ was the XO of Cromwell and Neilson was the chief of security, their ages changed again to match this environment. Then they travelled back to DJ's farm again and all four of them became children. Finally, they moved to another ship in an unknown time period and returned to their current ages.

Ensign Xozal & Lt Pavlova: Entered the nexus with a holodeck simulation of a Targ hunt with Captain Sesgaard. Ensign Xozalt was successful in the objective of the hunt which we are told is to capture and deactivate the Targ and consume its heart. We do not know why but it is consistent with most Species 5008 rituals... they always seem to involve deactivating something.

Petty Officer Mallory: Or Doctor Mallory at the time. Her designation has changed. Again. Petty Officer Mallory did not provide details of her time in the nexus other than that it involved several jumps into the future and that her age changed in a similar way to Kit, DJ, Neilson and Sally's to match the timeline.

Doctor Clark: Dr Clark went to the Absolution, the Federation vessel he served on before joining the DFA. He went to a time before the event which lead to his departure from the Federation and communicated with some individuals who had been deactivated during the event.

All units except for Six of Twelve and Four of Seven came together below a bridge in France, a country on Earth during the 19th century and shared their experiences. Captain Sesgaard appeared in many of these events and will provide data on his experiences separate from this report. We exited the nexus because of the Cromwell Christmas program which diverted sufficient power to prevent Cromwell from being sucked in permanently.

The Christmas program has been running for the past two weeks. It is set in a historical reconstruction of 20th century England from a story called 'A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens'. The story is about ghosts who transport the central character through past, present and future events in much the same way Cromwell has been transported in the nexus. It ends at the house of a damaged subunit who required currency for repairs. Ebenezer Scrooge, the character who was displaced in time, provides this currency and Christmas dinner for the family. Santa Claus came to this place and provided gifts. Santa said that there were children of all ages on Cromwell. This statement appeared false but was in fact correct once our definition of 'children' was corrected. Children are those who are not finished growing. We shared some of our Christmas subroutines with khre'Arrain tr'Saren and he provided data on 'social dept'. He malfunctioned but Cuddles was able to correct the problem.

2420.10 - 2420.11

Captain's Log: Stardate 2420.10. We are heading to Dakkus Shipyards for repairs from the Battle of Visaka. The crew is tired, and nerves frayed. This downtime will be important for them. It will also give me a chance to begin the Casper project. It is sooner than I expected, but I think it will still work.

We picked up a new crewman, Irina Pavlova, and her adopted child Jina. An accident of time I think in relation to our own time travels with the Ort Mission. While we gained one, in going on the mission, I inadvertently forced Paige Mallory's resignation. I hate to lose a good officer. But I've also gained a good officer; Starfleet, as I expected, was not as understanding of Irina's position. She has returned to Cromwell as a DFA officer.

Captain's Log Supplemental: I have spoken to DFA Command, for the moment, I can get Paige Mallory a contract position. We also spoke while on Dakkus, she has given me an idea. I hope this may be the ticket she is looking for.

Major MarQ has been promoted to command of the newly formed 265th Orbital Drop Battalion. Col Reynolds will remain in command of the 264th. Both will have to be rebuilt, but the officer Corp looks strong, including Lt's Norris and Lockwood, Fletcher has taken Alexis under his wing (I hope that is all), and with the addition of a strong Romulan cohort, including tr'Saren, t'Kah, t'Skaya we practically have three of the four Romulan elements. After the first of the year, I will be engaging Petalosa and t'Kah for pilot support for the Casper project. I had not considered, until now, if that will be a problem for Thorn. Still, I expect her to do her duty. And t'Kah to respect that as well. I will keep an eye on them. Cromwell's magic may already be at work. tr'Saren and t'Kah danced at the party. With Fletcher in the Casper project, I have moved Ona into intelligence.

For downtime, we have the holodeck to relax within. I chose, 'A tale of two cities'. A bit macabre, but it fit my current state of mind. I may have to stop in and see what the others are up to. Sgt Ainsworth was doing Starship troopers, he will be pleased with the Casper Project, as will Major MarQ.

I met Pavlova on the shooting range holodeck shooting range, Ensign Xozalt joined us. I proposed a Targ Hunt, should be good for the pair to compete. I looked forward to the hunt as well. This will test all three of us together and separately. Already, seeing their skills in action.

Stardate 2420.11 Captain's log, supplemental. Cromwell has been repaired and we have set sail for parts unknown. There are several planets that would be useful to categorize forthe DFA colonization department, and Lt. Rol has expertly organized several science missions. Tas is going to survey wildlife with our new Ensign Tress. We are dropping Mallory near what may be another StoneHenge. (Supplemental, Dr Clark ended up going with her, thank heavens. See supplemental report for away missions).

I have an assignment for DJ, but he has not been in his office when I have stopped in. I believe he is spending some time with his family; Neilson, Kit, Sally, Toby, Kaden, Martis. Irina left Jina with them in C4, but have not heard from them recently. I think Kit has also been acting as a matchmaker for Kaden Rol and Skae Themoi. I always get nervous when romance springs up on Cromwell and others get involved.

Have not seen or heard from the Borg for sometime. It's almost a Vacation for me.

I need to check in with our newest counselor, Kate. From what I hear, she is competent. Unfortunately, the time I went to her office, she too was engaged in a Holosimulation with Red and DW. Seemed like an interesting storyline, if a bit gritty and dark. I hope we will cross paths soon enough though.

I am going to finish my hologram story today. A tale of two cities. Seeing as how they expect me to be executed, I will be interested to see how the authors write that into the story.
